The Dirty DozenThe Dirty Dozen: The items listed on the Dirty Dozen have been found to have the highest levels of harmful chemicals and pesticide residue. When budget allows, try to always buy organic from this list.

The veggies and fruits listed on the Clean 15 tend to have the lowest levels of harmful substances, so if budget is tight, it is not as crucial to buy these organic. Although organic is always the safer choice, work with your budget and remember, any vegetables are better than NO vegetables. Download the pdf.
